The aim of these classes is to impart basic knowledge of computer operation, introduce hardware and software options, as well as provide hands-on-experience in a variety of computer graphics application areas.
No prior knowledge of computers or computer graphics is assumed.
The skills acquired at this level of instruction are generally not adequate for professional practice in the field. Enough information is provided to let the student make an informed decision on which area of concentration to choose.
For students seeking professional-level expertise, several advanced classes are available in each area.
